Railway repair machine PRM-5M is used to repair and current maintenance of railroad tracks of open-cast mountain minings, distances of a way of the industrial enterprises and enterprises of industrial railway transport. The machine performs lifting and straightening of the path, replacement of wooden and ferroconcrete sleepers. Machine PRM-5M has ahead of a cabin a rotary column for installation of the replaceable hinged equipment unlike machines PRM-5.
Wheelsets are installed on the machine in the base version with wheel diameter 500 mm, 4-speed transmission, hydrocod for movement in an operating mode to 5 km/h, a modern hydraulic systems of the leading European manufacturers (Italy), manipulator for changing the sleepers with the grip.
PRM-5M has a large comfortable cabin with the possibility of transportation of 4 railwaymen, proportional hydrodistributors with joysticks for management of working body (manipulator), the modern electrocase with measuring devices is established, behind the machine there is an automatic coupling SA-3 type of the vehicle. The machine is equipped with conditioner powered by 12V compressor which is installed on the engine and autonomous diesel heater. PRM-5M is available with an engine D-245 with power 60, 80, 100 kW water-cooled.
